Climate Clinic Aotearoa, formerly Students for Climate Solutions, was formed to undertake strategic climate litigation and champion a youth voice in courts across the world. Since 2021, we have taken the New Zealand Government to court for their decision to grant onshore oil permits, as well as filed an Article 15 Communication to the International Criminal Court alleging BP has committed a Crime Against Humanity in knowingly causing and perpetuating Climate Change.
